HIL Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the more experienced HIL engineer, receiving hands on training and support while helping operate HIL setup.
• Develop test plan for battery validation in cell for Technicians.
• Perform fault injection testing.
• Validate Functional Safety requirements on HIL.
• Acting as the liaison between technicians and the systems team to ensure requirements are validated thoroughly.
• Create and document test report in RNnS (Integrity).
• Review test report with the team.
• Driving activities independently in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

• CAN communication
• Python scripting for automated test development
• Battery systems experience with understanding of how critical BMs features work (example: SOC, SOH, power limits, diagnostics)
• Diagnostics calibration and validation experience
• Circuit and wiring diagram review understanding
• FuSa validation experience
• Tools and UDS protocol experience
