Responsibilities
- Work alongside the more experienced HIL engineer, receiving hands on training and support while helping operate HIL setup.
- Develop test plan for battery validation in cell for Technicians.
- Perform fault injection testing.
- Validate Functional Safety requirements on HIL.
- Acting as the liaison between technicians and the systems team to ensure requirements are validated thoroughly.
- Create and document test report in RNnS (Integrity).
- Review test report with the team.
- Driving activities independently in a fast paced environment.
Requirements
- CAN communication
- Python scripting for automated test development
- Battery systems experience with understanding of how critical BMs features work (example: SOC, SOH, power limits, diagnostics)
- Diagnostics calibration and validation experience
- Circuit and wiring diagram review understanding
- FuSa validation experience
- Tools and UDS protocol experience
