The Town of Hartford, Vermont is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Highway Laborer I. This position involves operating small equipment and performing tasks such as plowing, salting, and sanding of sidewalks in the winter, as well as assisting with general highway maintenance and construction work in other seasons.
Responsibilities
- Operate small equipment for snow removal and maintenance
- Assist with general highway maintenance and construction work
- Focus on assisting in all aspects of highway work
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Valid driver’s license
