Responsibilities
- Planning and design on transportation related projects
- Supporting Senior Project Engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of highway design
- Development of roadway alignments
- Roadside evaluation and design
- Maintenance of traffic design
- Preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates
- Development of technical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 5-10 years of relevant job experience related to highway engineering
- Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferred
- Experience designing and managing highway tasks and projects and preparing contract documents
- Knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and other relevant highway design guidelines, criteria, and standards required; knowledge of MDOT SHA guidelines, criteria, and standards preferred
- Licensed as Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Ability to handle multiple assignments
Skills

Pay
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00.

This is an onsite position in our Baltimore, MD office.
