Job Duties

• Highway Operations Worker: \$18.19 Grade 14 - Learn to operate motorized vehicles and equipment, perform pavement care and preservation, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs, sign and stripe, deliver equipment and materials, and comply with environmental regulations.
• Highway Operations Tech 1: \$20.46/hr. Grade 17 - Perform more advanced duties such as operation of motorized vehicles and equipment, pavement care and preservation, landscape care and preservation, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs, sign and stripe, deliver equipment and materials, and comply with environmental regulations.
• Highway Operations Tech 2: \$22.45/hr. Grade 18 - Perform intermediate level duties including operation of motorized vehicles and equipment, pavement care and preservation, landscape care and preservation, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs, sign and stripe, deliver equipment and materials, and comply with environmental regulations.
• Highway Operations Tech 3: \$24.44/hr. Grade 19 - Perform high-level duties and supervisor responsibilities such as operation of motorized vehicles and equipment, pavement care and preservation, landscape care and preservation, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs, sign and stripe, deliver equipment and materials, and comply with environmental regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)

• Highway Operations Worker: 6 months of Roadway/Highway job-related experience.
• Highway Operations Tech 1: 1 year of job-related Roadway/Highway experience.
• Highway Operations Tech 2: 2 years of job-related Roadway/Highway experience.
