Higher Education Sales Consultant - Gainesville , FL

About the role

We are seeking a driven Acquisitions Editor to join our team at Kendall Hunt Publishing. The ideal candidate will live in or near Tampa, Gainesville or Orlando, FL and will spend seven weeks traveling per semester, alternating with weeks working from home and spending a full week on college campuses.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting partnerships with college professors by interviewing, listening for business potential, and persuading select candidates to work with Kendall Hunt Publishing.
• Identify business opportunities, interview professors, and persuade author candidates to become Kendall Hunt authors for lower-level, higher-enrollment courses.
• Develop more interactive and engaging materials that solve the needs of students and make an impact in their college careers and future lives.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Bachelor's degree.
