Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 on-call emergency response and support to maintain building systems and infrastructure integrity and availability
- Monitor and maintain all building and mission critical facilities equipment
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs supporting data center and office operations
- Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer receive timely verbal and written operating reports about building systems and preventative maintenance
- Encourage, train, and evaluate Apprentice's technical and behavioral skills; set professional example
- At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments
- Current electrical Journeyman's license
- Experience with High Voltage
- Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in area of non-expertise (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence, or vice versa)
- Ability to operate and perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems
- Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications
Physical Effort/Activities
- May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds

Qualifications
