About the role
Join the SiGe team designing Driver and TIA for coherent long-haul and metro systems as well as PAM4 data center systems, primarily using SiGe BiCMOS. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that addresses the growing demands of data transmission in modern data centers, telecom networks, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop low noise / high linear (>50GHz) broadband analog circuits for optical front-end.
- Create high-precision analog circuits (e.g., linear regulators, bandgaps, DAC/ADC).
- Utilize EDA CAD tools for custom analog layout and 3D EM modeling.
- Measure IC performance and debug designs to correlate simulations with measurements.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Solid State Physics (new graduates through industry veterans will be considered for various roles up to and including leadership).
- Relevant experience from research, academia, or industry across allied fields.
- Deep understanding of detailed transistor-level design and device physics.
- Proven experience in one or more key areas of analog circuit design.
