High School Student Worker-ASP/HS

Duties

• Assists with roll call to ensure accountability for all students
• Affords assistance in planning and implementing student activities for assigned classes
• Maintains proper records
• Assists in the distribution of snacks
• Actively supervises students during daily activities
• Manages expectations for students’ behavior and safety and reports difficulties requiring disciplinary action to the Assistant Coordinator
• Participates in After School Program staff meetings and required training sessions
• Maintains a good attendance record and informs the Assistant Coordinator of absences
• Follows appropriate procedures for emergencies including student or staff health concerns, severe weather, suspected fires, or facility issues
• Ensures adherence to good safety procedures
• Fulfills federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

This position is a temporary assignment; payment is based on hours worked, and as work is available, with no eligibility or seniority for employee benefits.
