High School Spanish Teacher
About the role
Teach multiple sections of Spanish to diverse groups of students in grades 9–12, with class sizes of no more than 20 students. Design and implement engaging, differentiated, and interactive instruction that develops students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, language, and critical thinking. Foster students' appreciation and understanding of the Spanish language and diverse Spanish-speaking cultures while preparing them for success in college, careers, and active, informed participation in their communities. Establish a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that promotes collaboration, academic growth, and achievement of the goals and objectives outlined in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
Requirements
- NJ Teacher of English CE or Standard certification
- Candidates with out-of-state licenses must have already applied to the NJDOE for reciprocity and be able to submit a screenshot of their application status
- Must live in New Jersey or be planning to relocate to NJ
Schedule
- 7-hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Pay
$55,280.00 – $95,687.00 per year based on collective bargaining agreement
