HIGH SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER

Legacy Solutions Inc. is seeking a passionate and qualified High School Social Studies Teacher for one of our partner charter schools located in North Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are looking for an educator who can create an engaging classroom environment, build positive relationships with high school students, and connect history, government, civics, and current events to the world students experience today. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging high school Social Studies instruction aligned with Florida standards. Develop lessons that promote critical thinking, civic awareness, historical understanding, research, and student discussion. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback. Maintain a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment. Prepare students to successfully meet course and graduation requirements. Collaborate with administrators, teachers, parents, and support staff. Participate in professional development and school activities as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Florida Teacher Certification in Social Science, Grades 6–12, preferred. Candidates with a Florida Statement of Eligibility are encouraged to apply. Previous High School Teaching Experience Preferred. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Must successfully complete all required employment and Level 2 background screening requirements. Why Join Us?
