High School Social Studies Teacher
Buffalo High School is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. Applicants must hold or be able to obtain appropriate Missouri Teaching certification in this content area by the start of the school year.

Dallas County R-1 School District is a four-day school week district (Mondays off) located in southwest Missouri. Responsibilities
- Teach high school social studies courses in alignment with Missouri state standards.
- Foster a student-centered learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in district initiatives.
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri Teaching certification in Social Studies (or ability to obtain by the start of the 2026-2027 school year).
Pay
The district provides a competitive salary schedule and values experience. Teachers may apply up to 20 years of prior teaching experience toward their salary.
