Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre seeks a High School Social Science teacher to join our dynamic team starting September 8, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach high school social science curriculum aligned with provincial standards
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve educational practices and outcomes
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- Sound knowledge of provincial curricula
- Previous teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
- Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)

Pay
Highly competitive salary in accordance with the Provincial Manitoba Teachers' Collective Agreement, including the Frontier School Division addendum.

Full-time (1.00 FTE) term of employment: Permanent
