About the role
The High School Principal at Campbell Hall is sought after to lead the division's educational and strategic vision, community and constituent engagement, academic oversight, and staff and budget management. The position reports to the Associate Head of School.
Responsibilities
- Execute the High School division's educational and strategic vision
- Engage with and represent the High School community and constituents
- Oversee academic programs and ensure high-quality instruction
- Manage the High School faculty and staff, including hiring, professional development, and performance evaluations
- Develop and manage the High School budget
- Support the overall mission and values of Campbell Hall
Requirements
- Experience leading a secondary school environment
- Proven track record of academic success and innovation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with faculty, staff, and students
- Ability to manage a complex budget and oversee multiple departments
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive community
Qualifications
- Master's degree in education or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a secondary school setting
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Knowledge of best practices in secondary education
- Experience with budget management and financial planning
Skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
Benefits
