Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lessons that promote deep understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and academic success.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, including support for students with special needs and English language learners.
- Evaluate student learning through a variety of assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to guide progress.
- Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain a focused and organized learning environment.
- Stay up to date with best practices in math instruction and incorporate relevant educational technologies into teaching.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of successful teaching or tutoring experience at the K–12 level.
- Strong proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and the integration of assessment tools and educational technology.
- Commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and academically rigorous learning environment.
