High School Math Tutor- IN-HOME

About the Role

Prep Academy Tutors is a dynamic, private in-home tutoring company dedicated to providing top-tier educational support across all subjects and for students of all ages. We are looking for high school math teachers and tutors who are energetic, enthusiastic, and driven educators passionate about shaping young minds and helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support—or a challenge to stretch them further.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed on progress, struggles, and successes.

Requirements

We’re seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).
• You’re a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You’re a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education or an approved educator preparation program.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
• You are knowledgeable about high school mathematics, Accounting, and Statistics.
• AP/IB experience is preferred.
• You are currently located in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.
