High School Math Teacher

Job Description

The successful candidate will teach high school mathematics courses including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Absorb and implement new teaching methodologies and technologies as they become available.
• Assess student progress through various methods such as quizzes, tests, and projects, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary units and support student learning across subjects.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching license in Mathematics from the appropriate state board.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration in the classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$46,400.00 - $56,400.00 / Per Year
