Job Description
The successful candidate will teach high school mathematics courses including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Absorb and implement new teaching methodologies and technologies as they become available.
- Assess student progress through various methods such as quizzes, tests, and projects, and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary units and support student learning across subjects.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching license in Mathematics from the appropriate state board.
- At least three years of successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration in the classroom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
