High School Math Teacher

Employment Position Overview

Looking for a highly motivated teacher to work with high school students and teachers to support an academic intervention program focused on strengthening executive function capabilities.

• Experience with positive, growth mindset instructional practices
• Experience as a collaborative educator
• Skills and passion in teaching high school level students a rigorous mathematics curriculum that supports sophisticated problem-solving and critical thinking strategies
• Openness towards students and their families who come from a variety of backgrounds

Skills and Passion

All professional staff serve as Advisors, each assigned to a group of students, to support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each advisee by building and sustaining relationships with students, parents, and the community.

Salary Range: $47,500 through $84,575 based on degree level and years of teaching experience

Certification: 6-12 Mathematics (300) certification through the Maine Department of Education
