About the role
Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher who is able to teach multiple math levels, including Algebra I through College Algebra. The ideal candidate will support student achievement through rigorous, standards-based instruction and strong mathematical reasoning development.
Responsibilities
- Teach multiple high school math courses (Algebra I–College Algebra)
- Deliver standards-aligned instruction using Florida math standards
- Develop students’ problem-solving and analytical skills
- Use data to guide instruction and interventions
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with instructional staff and school leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (6–12)
- Strong content knowledge in high school math
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching multiple math levels
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shift
- In-person position
Pay
Starting at $51,000 (based on experience)
