High School Math Teacher

About the role

The High School Math Teacher will provide individual attention in small, collaborative, active, and engaged classes. They will guide students to understand their responsibility to serve and to act, fostering intellectual engagement, curiosity, lifelong learning, and a spirit of innovation.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses ranging from Algebra I through AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics.
• Provide individual attention in small, collaborative, active, and engaged classes.
• Foster intellectual engagement, curiosity, lifelong learning, and a spirit of innovation among students.
• Guide students to understand their responsibility to serve and to act.
• Encourage students to engage in community service and participate in extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in math.
• At least 3+ years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching math and engaging with high school students.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence.

• Ability to teach a wide range of math courses.
