Key Responsibilities
- Rigorous Instruction & Curriculum Adapt and implement a standards-aligned curriculum Design engaging lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessment
- Data-Driven Practice Analyze Gradient, NWEA, EOC, and internal assessments to inform instruction Monitor student growth and differentiate supports accordingly
- Mentoring Facilitate student Circle once a week, as well as participate in all staff Circle once a week Monitor your mentor group’s academic and behavior progress and provide support students in setting and reaching ambitious academic and character development goals Provide guidance and support on students’ self-discovery work
- Culture & Classroom Management Cultivate a high-expectations, equitable classroom environment for up to 25 students Build trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Whole School Leadership Serve in one of our “whole-school service” roles (e.g., Grade-Level Lead, Civic Engagement Lead, Tutoring Lead, SEL Lead) to drive school wide initiatives and reinforce our values
Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred
- Certification: Valid Missouri Social Studies 9-12 certification (or willingness to certify ASAP)
- Experience: 3+ years of high school history or social studies teaching preferred
Skills
- Strong content mastery in History, Social Studies Education, Political Science, or related field Proven ability to use data to drive instruction

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:40 AM–3:30 PM (occasional evenings/weekends)
