High School English Teacher

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring all students have the opportunity to excel.
• Maintaining accurate gradebooks and providing timely feedback to students and parents, keeping them informed of progress and areas for growth.
• Upholding the school's values of Honor, Achievement, World Citizenship, and Kindness, both in and out of the classroom.
• Enforcing school rules and expectations to create a safe and respectful learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Education or English Literature.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience with the Core Knowledge Curriculum Sequence and the classical style of education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
