About the role

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a Michigan K-12 school community. This role supports alternative certification pathways and contributes to the development of high-quality educational programs for students across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement curriculum aligned with state standards and alternative certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to enhance instructional practices.
  • Provide mentorship and support to educators pursuing alternative certification.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating professional development events and workshops.
  • Contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate or eligibility for alternative certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong understanding of Michigan educational standards and assessment practices.
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching educators preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
