High School Biology Teacher

About the Role

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) permanent position at Encina High School for the 2026-27 school year.

Pay

• Salary range for fully credentialed staff: $60,000 - $126,000 annually
• Internal employees may be placed on Column 5; external candidates are capped at Column 4 for incoming placement
• $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions
• $2,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff positions of counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian
• $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees
• $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities
• $1,500 - $6,000 annual stipends for various "leadership" roles

Schedule

• Teacher (Elementary/Secondary), Middle School & K-8 Counselor / Teacher Librarian Calendar 2 (10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week)
• Professional Work Day
