About the role

The Athletic Director oversees the high school’s athletic program, including the management of sports programs and athletic teams, the financial and logistical day-to-day operations, fundraising, and planning for future events and projects at one of the two PAUSD comprehensive high schools (grades 9-12). Assists in other school programs as assigned and preserves suitable learning conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the high school’s athletic program and sports teams.
• Handle financial and logistical day-to-day operations of the athletics department.
• Lead fundraising efforts for athletic programs and events.
• Plan and coordinate future athletic events and projects.
• Assist in other school programs as needed.
• Maintain suitable learning conditions within the athletic program.

Pay

Placement on the Teacher’s Salary Schedule plus a stipend. Pay is dependent on experience.
