High School Assistant Volleyball Coach

About the role

The High School Assistant Volleyball Coach position at Salem High School is seeking a dedicated individual to support the head coach in developing and implementing volleyball programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of volleyball practices and games.
• Work closely with the head coach to develop team strategies and improve player skills.
• Attend all home and away games to provide support and guidance to the team.
• Maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and other school staff.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.
• Experience coaching volleyball at the high school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Experience with volleyball equipment and techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
