About the role

The Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is seeking an energetic and experienced high school assistant basketball coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing young athletes and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy development
• Work closely with the head coach to implement team practices and games
• Provide support to players during practice and games
• Maintain a safe and respectful practice and game environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
• Experience as a high school basketball coach preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Passion for working with young people
