High School ASL Teacher (World Language)

About the role

Kreyco is hiring a High School ASL teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is based in-person, Monday through Friday during daytime teaching hours only, and is a 1099 independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Teach ASL in high school classrooms
• Utilize a comprehensive curriculum provided by Kreyco
• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced Kreyco staff
• Participate in professional development opportunities at no cost

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Reside in the US and within commutable distance to school
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to commute to school locations
• Pass a complete background check

Qualifications

• Passionate and dedicated to teaching
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of American Sign Language
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles

Pay & Schedule

• Payment varies and depends on teaching projects, ranging from $400 to $1,100 weekly
