High Rollers - Bartender

About the role

A typical day as a Bartender includes:

• Greeting guests with a welcoming smile and providing fast, friendly service
• Bartending, serving guests on the bowling lanes, working private events, and staffing our VIP room
• Accurately taking drink orders and preparing beverages in accordance with company recipes
• Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening when needed according to guidelines
• Ensuring consistency by following company recipes and standards
• Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
• Collaborating with other bartenders, servers, bar backs, and management
• Remembering and using guests’ names to build loyalty
• Resolving service problems with empathy and according to company guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and stocked work environment
• Arranging bottles and glassware to create an attractive display
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

This role may be a good fit if you have:

• At least 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced bar, restaurant, or service-based environment
• A neat and professional appearance
• Availability on both weekdays and weekends, including Sundays
• Comfort working across multiple service areas in a fast-paced environment
• TIPS Certification (a plus; required if selected for the position)
• Ability to pass Big Night Entertainment Group’s legal background check requirements
• An outgoing and friendly demeanor to build guest loyalty
• Excellent memory and multitasking abilities
• Strong teamwork skills with other staff members
• Ability to accurately count money and provide change
• Flexibility to work part-time hours based on the events schedule

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Capacity to withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Continuous reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping, and wiping
• Non-typical office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
