High Rise Operator (Warehouse) - 2nd Shift - Newbern

2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:30 pm until finished; occasional Saturdays). Pay: $22.45/hour plus $1.00 shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hi-rise reach truck and other material-handling equipment.
• Lift cases of product and stack onto pallets.
• Put away pallets of production and inbound product.
• Load and unload blast freezer.
• Ensure accuracy of product locations and case counts.
• Report damaged product to Inventory personnel, shift lead, or supervisor.
• Keep a clean and orderly zone throughout shift; leave zone clean at end of shift.
• Pick orders.
• Maintain all productivity goals and standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Uphold principles of SQF 2000.

Requirements

• Willing and able to operate a pallet jack and forklift and pass the certification test.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.
• Must maintain prompt and regular job attendance.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willing and able to work in below-freezing temperatures for extended periods.
• Willing and able to perform assigned tasks for 8-hour periods on concrete floors, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Willing and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months.
• Preferred: 6+ months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience.

Pay

$22.45 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium.
