High Rise Building Security Officer - Cincinnati OH

About the role

The High Rise Building Security Officer position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of security experience, preferably in a high-rise environment. Essential duties include observing and reporting activities and incidents, maintaining security and safety of client property and personnel, and enforcing regulations and directives.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Maintains security and safety of client property and personnel
• Enforces regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience
• Experience in a high-rise environment is a plus
• Capable of operating a security console, including handling alarms, camera operations, and access control
• Strong computer and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of property access control systems is a plus
• Able to walk extensive security rounds

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent customer service skills
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Requires passing a drug screen and background check
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• May involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
• May include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
