About the role
Volunteers provide vital support to children at a local shelter and youth development program, helping them feel safe, valued, and supported.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children
- Help children express themselves through the use of art
- Focus on empowerment, using only nice words and collaboration
- Participate in art therapy-based programming
Requirements
Volunteers must be over 18 years old.
Qualifications
No prior art experience is required. Volunteers should be able to dedicate a few hours to help children.
