About the role

This Analyst (P1) level, High-Performance Computing (HPC) candidate will provide Raytheon Digital Technology with High Performance Computing Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
  • Help develop and implement new technologies based upon industry best practices.
  • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems at a high scope and complexity to include the integration of High-Performance Computing hardware, software, and operating systems (OS).
  • Understand software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, hardware, and system-level troubleshooting, to lead and support the engineering community.
  • Perform OS tuning to maximize system performance on high performance computing systems.
  • Work across DT functions to standardize processes and procedures.
  • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements.
  • Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures.
  • Be a mentor to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification) within 6 months of hire date.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience or a total of 4 years relevant technical experience in IT or Digital Technology.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server Environments including directory services management, and system hardening.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
  • Experience in project leadership, management, or project management in a DT domain and basic to advance scripting experience.
  • Experience maintaining a medium sized Microsoft Windows Server environment.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with High Performance Computing scheduling and monitoring tools.

  • The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
