About the Role

Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-service-focused Licensed Security Officer for a luxury retail location, Bulgari, in Scottsdale. This client-facing role is in a high-end environment where a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail are required. APS has 18 years of experience providing premier security services to ensure safety, security, and peace of mind for our clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor the store and surrounding areas for suspicious activity
• Assist in deterring theft, disturbances, and unauthorized activity
• Remain attentive and aware of surroundings throughout the shift
• Provide professional and courteous interaction with clients, employees, and guests
• Respond appropriately to incidents and follow established security procedures
• Complete incident reports when necessary
• Other related duties, as assigned

• Black suit
• White button-down dress shirt
• Black tie
• Black dress shoes
• Clean, polished, professional appearance at all times
• No personal cell phone use while on duty
• Professional demeanor and conduct at all times

APS will provide the selected candidate with a jacket and tie. All other wardrobe items must be provided by the employee.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in English (written or oral) and speak/comprehend English without translation
• Must be neat, well-groomed, and present a professional appearance
• Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Security Guard License (AZDPS Security Guard Form Triage)
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs
• Reliably commute to client sites located within 30 minutes of your home address

Pay

$20.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

• Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Approximately 22.5 hours per week.
