About the role
Covenant LLC is hiring a licensed High-End Residential Journeyman Plumber to support custom home builds and renovation projects across Essex County and the Greater Boston area. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity for a plumber who takes pride in clean installations, thoughtful problem-solving, and professional work inside clients' homes.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in custom homes and remodels
- Read and follow blueprints, plumbing plans, and project specifications
- Complete rough-in, finish plumbing, fixture installation, and related residential plumbing tasks
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, project supervisors, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and municipal inspectors
- Follow Massachusetts plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend practical solutions
- Mentor apprentices and support less-experienced team members when needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and respectful of each client's home
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license
- 3+ years of residential plumbing experience
- Experience with custom homes, renovations, or high-end residential work is a plus
- Strong understanding of the Massachusetts plumbing code, inspections, and quality installation practices
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and plumbing layouts
- Clean, courteous work habits in occupied homes and active construction sites
- Respectful, team-first attitude and strong communication skills
- Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and operate in tight spaces when required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
