About the role

The opportunity is for a HICOM Command and Control Integrator to support defense mission professionals in creating solutions for keeping the nation safe. Key responsibilities include integrating into designated HICOM staff, assisting in exercise design and execution, providing expert guidance, supporting scenario development, facilitating coordination, and advising on exercise timeline management.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate into the designated HICOM staff during exercise design and execution to support replication of functions based on scenario requirements.
  • Aid in executing routine C2 functions during exercises in coordination with training objectives and scenario developments.
  • Provide expert guidance on exercise procedures, operations processes, and unit integration based on extensive institutional knowledge.
  • Support the HICOM in interpreting and applying exercise director guidance, ensuring all actions and decisions align with the overarching training objectives.
  • Participate in scenario development and execution using the Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE), ensuring realistic and doctrinally accurate representation of higher headquarters operations.
  • Facilitate effective coordination and integration with subordinate, adjacent, and higher simulated or live headquarters during training events.
  • Advise the HICOM staff on exercise timeline management, battle rhythm integration, and information flow in a simulated operational environment.
  • Facilitate role-playing requirements or inject development to help drive training audience decision-making.

Requirements

  • Experience as a field grade officer, such as a Senior Warrant Officer or Sergeant Major.
  • Experience in a developmental position with Command and Control at the Brigade or Battalion level.
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint regulation and publications.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Graduate of Military Education Level (MEL) 4, CGSC, Warrant Officer Training, or SGM’s equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Nice if you have: Experience as a planner on a division of higher staff, experience as battalion or brigade commander, experience as a warfighting function trainer at the Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or related school, Graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Candidates selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
