About the role

We are an established and busy Home Health Agency with over 40 years’ experience, seeking compassionate, respectful, and reliable Home Health Aids and Certified Nursing Assistants to start immediately for our clients in Estero.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in the patient's residence
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctor offices or hospital if needed
• Assist with prescribed medications
• Assist with the client's personal care
• Monitor and report the patient's vital signs (temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises if needed
• Prepare meals
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License or Photo ID, Permanent Resident Card, or Employment Authorization
• Social Security Card
• HHA Certified or CNA License/Certification
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• HIV/AIDS certificate
• Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication certification
• Alzheimer certificate
• Auto insurance

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality
