HHA/PCA (Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide): Flexible Shifts

About the role

Alvita Care is seeking empathetic, professional caregivers who are certified and experienced; drivers are preferred. The position offers flexible shifts including days, nights, 2‑4 day live‑ins, and hourly shifts typically ranging from 6‑12 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA / PCA certificate in the state of New York
• At least 1 year of working experience
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain
• Completed drug screen or Habituation Form
• Successful completion of Alvita Care’s internal process to accept cases

Skills

• Experience in Memory Care, Palliative care, ADL assistance, and transfers (a plus)
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Pay

Pay ranges from $19.65 to $21.00 per hour. Weekly paycheck issued every Friday via direct deposit, debit pay card, or paper check.

Schedule

• Full‑time, part‑time, and per diem schedule options
• Flexible shifts: days, nights, 2‑4 day live‑ins, and hourly shifts 6‑12 hours
• Live‑in positions available
• Overnight shifts occasionally
• Monday‑Friday availability preferred; weekend availability a plus
