HHA / Home Health Aide For Home Care Agency- Westchester

About the role

Summit Home Health Care is currently looking to hire caregivers that are willing to provide exceptional care for our patients. We are looking for someone that’s trustworthy and a team player willing to work along Summit to bring outstanding care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.)
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions
• Accompany the patient to doctor's visits, shopping, and other essential errands

Requirements

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Recommendation Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Flu shot
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen no older than 6 months
