About the role
Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking full-time and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) for day shift (7:00 am–3:15 pm) or evening shift (3:00 pm–11:15 pm). We welcome passionate individuals eager to work with seniors in a professional, caring, and team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee health-care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping, and other support services essential to residents’ health, happiness, and well-being
- Provide patient, courteous, and tactful service to residents, staff, family members, and visitors
Requirements
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate in the state of New York
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Prior experience working as an HHA; prior experience in a nursing home or assisted-living facility is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Team-oriented attitude; actively contributes and supports colleagues as needed
