HHA Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Deliver meals to patients.
- Turn and ambulate patients.
- Provide plenty of fresh water and extra nourishment.
- Help patients with personal hygiene.
- Provide bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers.
- Offer adjunct care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
- Check vital signs and document daily information.
- Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures.
