HHA, Home Health Aide

About the Role

Join BAYADA’s personal care and companionship team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults by helping them stay safe and independent at home. This role serves patients in [county one, county two, county three] within BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division.

Responsibilities

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you will provide:

• Personal care services (bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.)
• Household support (light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.)
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion exercises
• Assistance with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required (training provided)
• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• Commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
• Commitment to delivering patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability

Pay

Pay rates are case-specific and range from $22 to $30 per hour.
