About the role

This position is subject to Florida Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Absorb and follow individualized care plans
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance and supervision for safety
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Make errands and provide transportation using your personal vehicle
• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation
• May assist clients with Memory Care/Dementia, Stroke recovery, or similar needs

Requirements

• Reside in the Sarasota area
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Be able to commute to Sarasota
• Be able to bend, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
• Pass an extensive background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen

Qualifications

• Experience with Memory Care/Dementia, Stroke recovery, or similar needs is not required but may be beneficial
