Main Purpose
The main purpose of this HGV Drainage Engineer role is to operate the HGV’s visiting various client sites within and around the area, conducting pre-planned maintenance and emergency response works.
Responsibilities
- Operating an HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works
- Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition
- Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management
- Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation
- Working with an assistant, ensuring all information is fed back correctly to the office
- Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works
Requirements
- At least 1 year’s experience in the drainage industry
- Class 2 license minimum
- Problem solving and attention to detail is a must
- Candidate must be flexible, able to stay away frequently and work nights and early mornings (once or twice per month)
- Experience working on commercial sites
- Good communication skills

About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent role, 48 hour contract. The shift pattern will be: Week 1 Monday – Thursday working, Friday – Monday off Week 2 Tuesday – Friday working, Saturday – Tuesday off

Competitive salary plus overtime
Schedule
48 hour contract with a shift pattern that includes working Monday – Thursday and Friday – Monday, and Tuesday – Friday and Saturday – Tuesday alternately.
