Hershey's Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (Montgomery, AL)

The Hershey Company is seeking a Territory Sales Associate (TSA) for a flexible part-time role. This is a remote position requiring occasional travel to store locations within a defined territory.

About the Role

This role involves selling and maintaining the distribution of Hershey products in your assigned territory. You will also assist in the implementation of retail plans and report on your activities and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in your territory.
• Maintain flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans with various retailers.
• Achieve merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions.
• Submit daily activities using tablets.
• Manage your sales territory, which varies based on territory size, number of retailers, and location.

Requirements

• Valid US state issued driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle in good condition with maintained personal auto insurance covering $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage.
• Reside or be willing to commute within the territory boundaries.
• Able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
• Able to use tablet technology.
• Have daily access to wireless internet.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes in territory coverage.
• Available to work 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required.

Benefits

No car allowance is provided; however, mileage for travel will be reimbursed at 62 cents per mile.

Pay

The starting hourly rate is $15.50 - $16.50, with rates varying based on skill, experience, and geographic location.

Schedule

This is a Continuous Part-Time role working 20-25 hours per week. Work schedules are flexible based on personal needs, territory needs, and availability during core hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
