Hershey's Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (Appleton, WI)

About the role

This role is responsible for executing sales priorities, supporting retail strategy, and influencing store-level outcomes within an assigned territory. This role focuses on advanced selling capabilities, strong business acumen, and collaborative teamwork to drive long-term change and business results.

Responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative mindset, interpret store and retailer priorities, and influence solutions that drive results.
• Develop a clear strategy prior to each store call, aligned to store level, regional, or retailer level objectives.
• Leverage sales strategies to influence without authority, prepare multiple solution options, and confidently ask for additional opportunities or commitments.
• Implement the right solutions, evaluate alternative approaches, and consistently question to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all “authorized” Hershey Items in assigned territory.
• Achieve all merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory.
• Submit daily activities using tablets upon completion of each day.
• Manage sales territory - varies due to territory size, number of retailers, and location.

Requirements

• Valid US state issued driver’s license
• Personal vehicle in sound operating condition
• Maintain personal auto insurance indicating minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage
• Reside or be willing to commute within the territory boundaries as listed in the job description
• Able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls on a daily basis
• Able to lift 10-40 lbs. on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodations
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop down and demonstrate manual dexterity on a frequent basis with or without reasonable accommodations
• Able to use tablet technology
• Able to have daily access to wireless internet
• Able to work 20-25 hours per week
