Job Duties

  • Provide guest assistance as a representative for Hershey Bears events.
    • Answer general questions about operations or policies.
    • Refer questions or issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
    • Provide directions to locations and services within the venue.
  • Act as a Sales Support Agent, including:
    • Taking reservations.
    • Selling tickets.
    • Cold calling.
    • Processing and fulfilling orders.
    • Supporting the sales team by answering group and season ticket questions.
  • Fulfill and track complimentary ticket requests for home and away teams on game days.
    • Assist the Season and Group Sales Managers in processing orders and fulfillment.
  • Aid in pre-event preparations, including:
    • The preparation of Group Leader incentives.
    • Ticket HQ table assistance.
    • Assist with Hershey Bears sales reports.
  • Answer the Sales phone line and monitor the email inboxes, including:
    • Responding to correspondences.
    • Tracking guest communication in Hershey Help.
  • Aid in the tracking and documentation of various sales programs, including:
    • Complimentary Tickets.
    • Exchanges.
    • Game day experiences.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by Manager of Hershey Bears Ticketing and full-time staff to understand operational standards and policies.
    • Assist with Ticketing Operations by using such applications as Archtics, Host, TM1, Venue Entry and 3rd party partners.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Completion of High School or GED.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a Sports Management, Marketing, Sales, or Communications major.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be able to handle guest concerns with ease and professionalism.
  • Must have the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be skilled in the use of computer software, including Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
  • Must be proficient in working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must display an eagerness to learn and ability to maintain a professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines.

This job requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens, accounting ledgers, using measurement devices).

This job regularly requires verbal communication of detailed information to others either by phone or in person.

The position is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

The position is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The length of this internship runs from September 2026-April 2026 based on the operational game and event season of the Entertainment Complex.

The selected candidate must be able to attend all Home Hershey Bears Games, as well as be available for 2 office days per week.

Exact work hours for office days will be flexible based on the academic needs and schedule of the candidate.

Housing is not being offered for this internship.
