Henderson Personal Care Attendant
Job Responsibilities
- Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more
- Aid with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living
- Aid with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
Job Qualifications
- Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, own reliable transportation, clean driving record, and willingness to drive a reasonable distance
- Must take vehicle to shift in case client needs transportation
- Must have 1 year of field experience as a PCA, CNA, or Home Health Aide (preferred but training provided for the right candidates)
- Must pass State and Federal background check & drug screen
- Must get a current TB and physical prior to beginning work with us (hiring bonus available to help with costs)
- Must obtain CPR & First Aid certifications (we can help with this)
- Must provide 2 personal and 2 professional references
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be willing to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
- Must possess proficient communication skills
- Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
