About the Role

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hemodialysis RN to join our team at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institute located in Torrington, WY.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments, IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Apply understanding of renal physiology, kidney disease progression, and hemodialysis principles.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
• Adhere to correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Comply with security protocols and procedures specific to correctional facilities.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within Wyoming.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Hemodialysis Staff RN in a healthcare setting (correctional healthcare experience preferred).
• Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association required).
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or other relevant certifications may be preferred.
• Ability to pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.
• Integrity, professionalism, and adherence to a Code of Conduct.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds).
• Bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and walk significant distances.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as CPR while maintaining balance and endurance throughout a shift.
