Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

NaphCare is hiring a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RNs) to join our team at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City, NV. You will be part of a reputable family-owned healthcare technology company with a 35-year legacy of providing quality healthcare to correctional facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, patient-focused healthcare in a correctional setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Administer hemodialysis treatments safely and effectively
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures

Requirements

• Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within NV
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Hemodialysis Staff RN in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or other relevant certifications may be preferred
• Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency response skills
• Understanding of renal physiology, the causes and progression of kidney disease, and the principles of hemodialysis
• Previous experience working in a correctional facility, familiarity with security protocols and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
• Integrity, professionalism, and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
