Hemodialysis Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based dialysis care including patient assessment, access care, treatment initiation and termination, and ongoing monitoring for stability and complications.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document care in the EMR and educate patients and families about treatment and self-care.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety standards to ensure a safe treatment environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered nurse licensure with relevant clinical experience in dialysis or related fields preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assess patient conditions, prioritize tasks, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Experience with EMR documentation and patient education.
